The location was best possible and magnificent, for example, a local history museum was relatively close to the hotel. The standard queen room was newly renovated, included shower facilities, a hairdryer, and a bidet...

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the restaurant, shopping district, and center of town. the executive king room had a work desk, tea/coffee making equipment, and a television. - the reception employees were very friendly and accommodating. - the rooftop restaurant served warm and tasty food. - It is a great holiday base for exploring Biella.

the room (junior suite) was very clean, comfortable and spacious. good sound-proofing, good light-blocking shutters.

1. ridiculous check-in and parking arrangements. once we found the extremely obscure front door - with no nearby parking, no front entrance temporary parking, no valet parking - we were then told we'd have to return to our car, drive it around the block to their carpark entrance then lug our own luggage through the carpark and into an extremely small lift, then check in, then lug our own luggage back into the same small lift and up to our room. no porter, no assistance whatsoever. 2. not permitted to use an iron in the room "for safety reasons". I have stayed in hotels all over the world, have used an iron in the rooms in many of them, and am still alive to tell the tale. Then they charged us 35euros to iron 7 items of clothing! 3. no coffee or tea in the room (sachets of instant would be okay) - maybe this is the standard in Italy as I encountered this in other hotels in Italy, but wherever else I've stayed in hotels there is always complementary coffee in the room. 4. some staff were rude, some were reasonably polite, none stood out as being exceptionally polite and helpful. definitely not a 4 star hotel.

A comfortable and quiet place with outstandingly accommodating employees on reception desk, well-appointed room, and a large bathroom with a bathtub - an ideal base for exploring the area.
